Thanks to all who made it to my opening in Switzerland. I’d also like to thank all of the guys at Milieu Galerie for doing such a great job of hosting the opening night of the show and taking the time to be our tour guides in Bern. <b>April 1, 2008</b>
Today I began work on the installation for my show, "An Occasion of Wonder," at <a href="http://www.milieu-digital.com" target="_blank">Milieu Galerie/Artspace</a> on April 4th. I will post pictures from the show when I return to the States later in April.
Before I left for Switzerland, my friend Greg Roman was nice enough to film a short timelapse video of me painting some sad horses and a man playing the blues. You can watch it <a href="http://youtube.com/watch?v=XTjLhT8y0rQ" target="_blank">here</a>.
<b>February 29, 2008</b>
I’m getting excited for my upcoming show in Switzerland. I just shipped twenty pieces -- which include a couple book sculptures and several paper pieces -- for my April 4th show at <a href="http://www.milieu-digital.com" target="_blank">Milieu Galerie/Artspace</a>. I’ll be sending out an email with a flyer in the next couple of weeks. <b>December 9, 2007</b>
Welcome to my new Web site. Stay posted as I will be updating my News more often now. New features include images of my most recent work and pages devoted solely to my Installations and Book Sculptures. Take a look at my "Exhibitions" page for upcoming and past shows.
Some good news is that my installation, "When the Animals Rebel," was purchased by the Fondren Library at Rice University, Houston, TX, and is now part of the university’s permanent collection. This June I spent two weeks creating this massive work which measures 16x44 feet. Click <a href="http://ricegallery.org/new/exhibition/whentheanimalsrebel.html" target="_blank">here</a> to see more pictures.
Currently, I have some pieces at the Red Dot Fair at Art Basel in Miami, FL, courtesy of <a href="http://www.blkmrktgallery.com" target="_blank">BLK/MRKT Gallery</a>. The Red Dot Fair is from December 6-9, 2007. I am also showing work through December 15, 2007, at<br><a href="http://www.gilmancontemporary.com" target="_blank">GIlman Contemporary Gallery</a>.
I have two solo shows planned for next year. The first is happening in Switzerland from April through May at <a href="http://www.milieu-digital.com" target="_blank">Milieu Galerie/Artspace</a>. The second will be in Culver City during July at <a href="http://www.kinseydesforges.com" target="_blank">Kinsey/DesForges Gallery</a>.]]>
